About Me
I grew up listening to the throaty tongue spoken by my father and uncle, who told unseemly jokes in that language so we kids couldn't understand. It was then that I was introduced to this thing called German, and from that point on, I wondered my whole childhood what it was.

My first real job at the age of 15 was in a Mexican restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona. There I learned Spanish and befriended many a Mexican. A love for foreign cultures was reborn.

Now I live and work in Germany, doing many different things while trying to find what most fulfills me. In addition to learning something new every day, I'm speaking German while visiting castles, cathedrals and other amazing places. I live in wine land (with vineyards literally in my backyard), and I get to see Europe little by little. Everything combined, I'm drinking in all the wonderful things Deutschland and its European neighbors have to offer.

Come along with me on my adventures and relive with me some of the silly and serious things that have happened here. I hope you can laugh and learn something new. And if you find me too cynical, don't worry: I'm getting more used to my life every day.
