Blessed to be here working in the country of my forefathers, I'm living a dream that began in childhood.

But it's not always Regenbogen und Schmetterlinge. Residing in a foreign land requires endurance and a thick skin. Germans and Germany, with their Ordnung, bureauracy and rules -- never mind the complexity of the language -- can be especially strenuous at times. Even the most subtle cultural differences can be challenging. 

My writing helps me cope and may teach you a thing or two. Relax and come along with me while I detail my joys and tribulations living and working in Deutschland.
